Na Tcha Temple is a tiny Chinese temple tucked beside the Ruins of St Paul's, and that contrast is the point. The temple's modest scale, tiled roof and incense-filled interior sit almost against the remains of Macau's most famous Catholic facade.
The stop is quick, but it says a lot about Macau's layered religious and colonial history. It is best seen while walking between the Ruins of St Paul's, Monte Fort and the old streets around Senado Square.
