Durgam Cheruvu, often called the Secret Lake, sits between Jubilee Hills and Madhapur. Under the Qutb Shahi dynasty it supplied drinking water to Golconda; today it is a city escape with boating, an amphitheatre, a cable bridge and evening fountain shows.
It is most useful as a relaxed stop in Hyderabad's western districts, especially around sunset when the lake and bridge are at their best.
