Mrugavani National Park protects a pocket of dry scrub and woodland on the edge of Hyderabad, with birds, reptiles, small mammals, and native plants that are easy to miss in the city's built-up sprawl. It is a modest national park, but useful if you want a nature break without leaving the metropolitan area.
