Osman Sagar, also called Gandipet, is a large reservoir west of Hyderabad and a popular outing when the water is high after the monsoon. The Gandipet Eco Park adds a boardwalk, butterfly garden, aquarium, open-air theatre, and sensory park, so it works best as a relaxed half-day break from the city rather than a quick central sight.
