Sardar Khan's Roza, completed in 1683, is a serene Mughal-era tomb-and-mosque complex in the Jamalpur area at the southern edge of the old walled city. The complex includes the tomb of Nawab Sardar Khan, a Mughal governor of Gujarat, in a smallish marble mausoleum surrounded by a colonnaded cloister. The 60-pillared Sardar Khan Mosque in the same compound is one of the most graceful smaller mosques in the city.
The roza sees few visitors and is one of the calmest corners of the old city — a good stop after the bustle of Manek Chowk.
