Guru ka Tal is a Sikh pilgrimage site on the northwest side of Agra, associated with Guru Tegh Bahadur. Its domes, water tank, and devotional atmosphere make it a different kind of stop from Agra's Mughal tombs and palace complexes.
It is most worthwhile for travellers who want to widen an Agra itinerary beyond the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, and Sikandra. Dress and behave respectfully, cover your head where required, and allow time for the slower rhythm of a working religious site.
