The Kinari Bazaar, behind the Jama Masjid, is the old textile and craftwork market of Agra and the best place in town to wander an unselfconscious Indian bazaar. The narrow lanes are full of shops selling marble inlay work (the same technique used at the Taj), zardozi embroidery, silver jewellery, lehengas, kites, and sweets.
Prices are bazaar prices — that is, bargain hard, and treat the first asking price as theatre. The streets are busy, narrow, and full of rickshaws; come with the patience to enjoy the chaos rather than to get through it efficiently.
