The Tomb of King Heungdok is one of the later royal tombs of the Silla dynasty and lies north of Angang, away from Gyeongju's best-known central tomb clusters. Its more remote setting helps show how widely Silla royal and aristocratic sites spread across the region.
It is best visited as part of a wider northern Gyeongju route, especially if you are also heading toward Oksan Seowon or Yangdong Folk Village.
