St. Leonhardskirche

St. Leonhardskirche is one of Frankfurt's older churches, founded in the early 13th century and later reshaped in Gothic style. Its position near the Main makes it an easy stop while walking between the riverfront, the Eiserner Steg, and the old town.

The church is quieter than the better-known cathedral and Romerberg area. Look for the mixture of Romanesque origins and later Gothic additions, which gives the building much of its character.
