The House of Collections

The House of Collections is a 1906 building that has held several of Iceland's major national collections. It now forms part of the National Gallery of Iceland and presents exhibitions that connect visual art, science, and Icelandic cultural history.

It is a good central Reykjavík stop if you want a quieter museum visit, and admission is normally tied to the National Gallery's other sites.
