Corso Italia

Genoa’s seaside promenade, linking city life with the beaches of Boccadasse.

Corso Italia is Genoa's long seafront promenade, running east from the Foce area toward Boccadasse. It gives the city something its dense medieval centre cannot: open air, sea views, joggers, beach clubs, and a broad evening stroll with the Ligurian coast in front of you.

Come late in the day, when locals are out walking and the light softens over the water. It is not Genoa's most ancient sight, but it is one of the best places to understand the modern city relaxing at the edge of the Mediterranean.
