Leonardo's Horse is a large bronze sculpture based on Leonardo da Vinci's unrealised design for an equestrian monument. The modern casting stands by the San Siro racecourse, a little outside the usual central Milan art circuit.
It is a niche stop, but rewarding if you are interested in Leonardo's engineering and sculpture projects beyond the famous museums. The courtyard is usually accessible even when the racecourse itself is quiet.
