San Cristoforo Sul Naviglio is a small church complex beside Milan's canal system, made up of two adjoining churches. The older part dates to the 13th century, on a site associated with worship since Roman times.
It is a modest stop compared with Milan's great basilicas, but the canal setting and layered architecture make it worthwhile if you are exploring the Tortona and Navigli side of the city.
