The Allard Pierson Museum is the archaeological museum of the University of Amsterdam. Its collections cover ancient Egypt, Cyprus, Greece, Etruria, Rome, and the ancient Near East, with enough range to reward visitors who want a quieter museum than the city's biggest names.
