Oliwa Cathedral is best known for its huge 18th-century organ, once among the largest in Europe. Short organ recitals are a regular draw, and the moving figures and rich sound make the instrument the main reason to come.
The cathedral is in Gdańsk's Oliwa district, north of the old centre and close to the Tricity Landscape Park. It makes a good half-day pairing with Oliwa's green spaces or nearby Sopot.
