Sołdek is a museum ship moored in Gdańsk as part of the National Maritime Museum. Launched in 1948, it was the first ocean-going vessel built in postwar Poland and spent its working life carrying coal and ore. Walking through the ship gives a direct look at the machinery, cargo spaces, and tight working conditions behind Gdańsk's modern maritime history.
