Homerton College is one of Cambridge's quieter college stops, set a little south of the busiest historic core on Hills Road. It has long academic roots, handsome buildings, broad lawns, and an orchard-like calm that feels different from the more famous central colleges.
It is not the college to visit if you only have an hour in Cambridge, but it rewards a slower walk beyond the usual circuit.
