Manchester Jewish Museum tells the story of Britain's largest Jewish community outside London. It occupies a former Spanish and Portuguese synagogue in Cheetham Hill, once the heart of Manchester's Jewish district, and combines the restored religious building with exhibits on migration, textiles, tailoring, and community life.
