St. Mary's (The Hidden Gem)

St. Mary's, often called The Hidden Gem, is a small Catholic church dating from 1794. It is one of Manchester's oldest post-Reformation Catholic churches and still has an active city-centre congregation.

Inside, the main reason to visit is the modern Stations of the Cross by Norman Adams. It remains a place of worship, so avoid services, dress modestly, and respect the ban on photography.
