The Old Wellington Inn and Sinclair's Oyster Bar

Tudor-era timber pub, moved intact after the 1996 IRA bombing

Address Exchange Square

The Old Wellington Inn dates from 1552 and is one of the oldest buildings in Manchester. It was moved from its original site during the rebuilding of the city centre after the 1996 IRA bomb. Together with Sinclair's Oyster Bar next door, it forms a picturesque pair of timber-framed buildings in Exchange Square.
