Ordsall Hall is a timber-framed manor house in Salford, close to Manchester's Quays. Its oldest parts date from the 16th century, with later brick wings and many later alterations. Inside, the appeal is the layered domestic history of the building, from Tudor great hall to later household rooms, plus the long-running local legend linking it to Guy Fawkes.
