The Episcopal cathedral on Monument Circle, dating to 1857 — the oldest church in continuous use in Indianapolis. The Gothic Revival sandstone exterior is unassuming next to the soaring monument, but the interior holds a notable Tiffany window and a hand-carved English oak rood screen.
The cathedral runs a free 30-minute concert series on Thursday lunchtimes during much of the year, and the Sunday choral services are open to all. The doors are usually unlocked during the day for quiet visits.
