Indiana Landmarks Center

A restored 1891 Romanesque sandstone church on North Meridian Street that now houses the headquarters of Indiana Landmarks, the largest historic preservation organisation in the United States. The Cook Theater, a 600-seat performance space inside the former sanctuary, has retained its stained glass and original woodwork.

Visit the small downstairs exhibit on Indiana preservation projects, drop into a performance at the theatre, or pick up a self-guided walking-tour brochure for the surrounding North Meridian Street historic district — one of the finest stretches of late-19th-century mansions in the Midwest.
