Hamilton Viewpoint Park is a small West Seattle overlook above Alki, with a direct view across Elliott Bay to downtown Seattle. The park is simple, but the angle is excellent: ferries, cranes, the skyline, and the water all line up in one compact panorama.
It is best as a short detour while exploring Alki or the West Seattle waterfront. Sunset can be especially good when the light catches the downtown towers and the bay traffic below.
