Jefferson Park spreads across Beacon Hill with some of the best open views in south Seattle. From its high ground you can look toward the Duwamish River, downtown, and the Olympic Mountains on a clear day.
The park was designed by the Olmsted Brothers and still feels generous, with lawns, paths, sports fields, and a golf course around the edges. It is a good local stop if you want a breather outside the central waterfront and market crowds.
