Ohlange High School

Ohlange High School is a key stop on the Inanda heritage trail. Founded in 1901 by John and Nokutela Dube, it was one of South Africa's first schools established for Black students, and John Dube later became the first president of the ANC.

The school also has a powerful Mandela connection: Nelson Mandela voted here in South Africa's first fully democratic election in 1994. It is best visited as part of a wider trip through Inanda's political and religious heritage sites.
