Wanshou Temple

Wanshou Temple is a Ming-era temple complex dating to 1577 that now houses the Beijing Art Museum. The museum's collection of ancient art gives visitors a reason to go beyond the temple architecture itself.

It is northwest of Purple Bamboo Park and works well as part of a Haidian day focused on temples, gardens, and museums away from the most crowded central sights.
