Al Farkiah Beach is a public family beach near Al Khor, north of Doha. It is set up for a low-key day by the water, with shaded picnic benches, toilets, showers, barbecue stands, and children's play areas.
It is not a wild beach, and that is the point: come here when you want facilities, space for a picnic, and an easy break from the city.
