The 3-2-1 Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum opened in 2022 ahead of the FIFA World Cup and occupies a glass pavilion at the edge of Aspire Zone. Seven floors trace the history of the Olympic and Paralympic games and of Qatari sport, with a substantial collection of artifacts, memorabilia, and interactive displays.
The World Cup floor is inevitably prominent, covering the 2022 tournament in detail. But the broader Olympic collection is the more interesting part — with items including Jesse Owens' 1936 Berlin shoes, Muhammad Ali's gloves, and a comprehensive record of Arab participation in the Games. Well produced by regional museum standards; allow two hours.
