Cijin Coast Park is one of Kaohsiung’s easiest seaside escapes, stretching along the shore of Cijin Island. It combines beach paths, sea air, public art, and views back toward the harbour city, all a short ferry ride from central Kaohsiung.
The park works best as part of a broader Cijin loop with the old street, seafood stalls, lighthouse area, and fort. It is not wilderness, but it gives Kaohsiung a relaxed coastal edge that contrasts nicely with the city’s dense urban core.
