The largest science museum in southern Taiwan, with eighteen permanent halls covering everything from energy and electricity to aerospace, civil engineering, and the history of Chinese science. The displays are hands-on and pitched at older children; an IMAX 3D theatre runs feature films.
Useful on a hot or rainy day; allow most of a day to see properly. The museum is on the eastern edge of the city centre — take the Orange Line to Martial Arts Stadium MRT.
