Guru Tawan Sikh Temple

Guru Tawan Sikh Temple is the landmark gurdwara of Phahurat, Bangkok's Little India. The white six-storey building with its golden dome is a working religious centre, not just a sight, and it says a lot about the Sikh community that has long been part of the city's trading life.

Non-Sikh visitors may enter respectfully: remove your shoes, cover your head, and follow local cues. Sundays and festival days are the busiest, when the community kitchen serves free vegetarian food.
