Siriraj Museums are a group of medical museums inside Siriraj Hospital on the Thonburi side of the Chao Phraya. The best-known section is the forensic medicine museum, whose displays of medical specimens and crime-scene material are not for the squeamish.
The museums are old-fashioned and unevenly signed in English, but they give a stark look at anatomy, pathology, parasites, and Thai medical history. Go if you have a strong stomach and a real interest in medicine.
