The King's Birthday Celebration Arch marks the ceremonial entrance to Bangkok's Chinatown near Wat Traimit. It was built by Thai Chinese communities for King Bhumibol Adulyadej's 72nd birthday in 1999.
The arch is a quick stop rather than a destination on its own, but it is easy to fold into a walk around Yaowarat, Wat Traimit, and the nearby market streets.
