Samphanthawong Museum is a small community museum on Bangkok's early Chinese immigrants and their role in Yaowarat, the area better known as Chinatown. Displays use photographs and text in Thai and English to explain the neighbourhood's history and local identity.
It is a useful stop if you want more context before or after walking Yaowarat Road, Wat Traimit, and the surrounding market streets.
