Wat Prayoon sits by the Chao Phraya just south of Memorial Bridge, marked by a large white Ayutthaya-style chedi that looks especially good from the river at dusk. The temple compound is more playful than solemn: the Khao Mor mound is crowded with shrines, chedis, spirit houses, turtles, and odd little details that make it a rewarding wander before or after exploring Kudi Chin.
