Wat Ratchaburana, also known as Wat Liap, stands near the Bangkok end of Memorial Bridge. The temple was built in the late Ayutthaya period by a Chinese merchant and is counted among the older important temples of the capital.
It is a useful stop when walking between Phahurat, Pak Khlong Talat and the river crossings into Thonburi.
