St. Leopoldskirche stands on Leopoldsberg, one of the wooded hills above Vienna. The church was founded in 1679, rebuilt in its present form in the early 18th century, and restored before reopening to visitors in 2018.
Come mainly for the combination of church, hilltop setting, and broad views over Vienna and the Danube. It pairs naturally with Kahlenberg or a walk through the vineyards above the city.
