The 3Arena, at the eastern tip of the Docklands by the Point Village, is Ireland's premier indoor concert venue, hosting the biggest touring acts and regularly ranking among the busiest arenas in the world by ticket sales. The building began life as a Victorian railway goods depot, the Point Depot, whose original brick facade has been preserved at the entrance.
Unless you are attending a show there is little to see inside, but the surrounding Point Village, the giant Wheel of Dublin observation wheel nearby, and the riverside setting make this end of the docks worth the walk or a short hop on the Luas Red Line, which terminates here.
