Pearse Museum occupies the former school run by Patrick Pearse, one of the leaders of the 1916 Rising. The displays connect Pearse's work in education, Irish language revival, and revolutionary politics.
The museum is outside the central sightseeing core, but it is worth the trip for visitors following the story of modern Irish nationalism or looking for a quieter historic site in Dublin.
