Booterstown Marsh is a small salt-marsh and mudflat nature reserve on Dublin Bay. It is not wild in the remote sense, with roads and rail nearby, but the wetland still draws a good range of birds and gives the south bay a pause of reeds and water.
The viewing area at the northwestern corner is the simplest way to visit. Bring binoculars if you have them, especially outside the busy middle of the day.
