A 13th-century church on the eastern side of the old city, in a quiet corner most visitors never reach. The terrace outside gives one of the best views in Siena — across to the Duomo, the Torre del Mangia, and the rolling hills beyond.
Inside, the second altar on the right holds Coppo di Marcovaldo's Madonna del Bordone (1261), a key transitional painting between Byzantine and early Italian Gothic styles. There are also panels by Pietro Lorenzetti and Taddeo di Bartolo.
