La Dama Ibérica is a huge blue public sculpture by Valencian artist Manolo Valdés, set in a roundabout west of the centre. Its shape riffs on the ancient Lady of Elche, but the surface is built from thousands of small ceramic replicas, giving the monument a strange mix of archaeology, pop repetition, and civic bravado.
It is not worth a special trip across town, but it is a memorable landmark if you are nearby or interested in Valencia's public art.
