The Museum of Historical Treasures of Ukraine displays precious-metal and gemstone objects from Ukrainian archaeology and decorative art. It sits in the Kovnirivskyi building, a former bakery of the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra rebuilt in the 18th century.
The collection is strong on ancient gold, silver, and finely worked objects, including pieces from major hoards. It makes a good focused stop while visiting the Lavra, especially if you like archaeology more than church interiors.
