The Marsh Loop is one of Banff's easiest nature walks, looping through wetlands near the Bow River without demanding a mountain day. It is flat, accessible, and quietly rewarding, especially for birds, river views, and the contrast between open marsh and surrounding peaks.
This is not the trail for bragging rights, which is why it is useful. Walk it early or late when wildlife is more active, and use it as a calm counterweight to gondolas, viewpoints, and the busier lakes.
