The 6,800-seat outdoor amphitheatre on the Cumberland riverbank south of Broadway opened in 2015. The fixed seating slopes down to a steel-and-fabric canopied stage that frames the city skyline behind it — one of the most attractive concert venues in the city, and one of the very few major outdoor stages within walking distance of downtown.
The amphitheatre's season runs roughly April to October. Shows range across country, rock, jazz, and pop; the Nashville Symphony's summer season also performs here. The riverside walk and the Cumberland Park next door make pre-show drinks easy. Lawn seats are cheap; covered seats are not.
