Nashville Zoo at Grassmere is a major family attraction south of the city centre, set on the historic Grassmere property. The grounds combine animal habitats, play areas, and traces of the older estate landscape.
It is best treated as a half-day outing rather than a quick stop between music sights. Families will get the most from it, but the setting also makes it one of Nashville's more substantial non-music attractions.
