The 69,000-seat stadium on the east bank of the Cumberland, home of the Tennessee Titans of the NFL since 1999, and host to large stadium concerts and to the annual CMA Fest in June. The stadium is in the middle of a major rebuild — a fully roofed, new $2 billion building is scheduled to open in 2027 next to the existing one.
From across the river the stadium serves as a downtown landmark; the west-bank pedestrian bridge gives a useful view of it on the way to East Nashville. Tailgating in the lots before Titans home games is its own social ritual, with country music, smoked-meat barbecues, and a sea of light blue.
