Palacio Paz is one of Buenos Aires' grand early-20th-century palaces, built for newspaper owner Jose C. Paz and later used by the Military Circle. Its scale and formal interiors show the wealth and European taste of the city's Belle Epoque elite.
The exterior is easy to see near Plaza San Martin, but the guided interior tour is the reason to make a deliberate stop.
