The Casa de la Cultura is a small cultural centre in another of Coro's colonial mansions, used for rotating exhibitions of local painters, photographers and craftspeople. It is the easiest place to see contemporary Falconian art and to find out about any current festivals or concerts.
The building also hosts occasional evening performances of local music — joropo oriental and gaita falconiana — when the patio fills with chairs and the heat finally drops. Worth a check on the door for the current programme if you are spending more than a day in Coro.
